A Nigerian Creator's Exploration: Inside China's Horgos Port

On January 4, 2026, the fourth season of "Xinjiang in Four Seasons" officially commenced in northwest China's Xinjiang. Jointly organized by Xinjiang Today Media Hub and Tianshannet, the program gathered 17 content creators and media professionals for a 10-day immersive journey across the Altay Prefecture, Ili Kazak Autonomous Prefecture, and Urumqi City.
On January 9, the group visited the China-Kazakhstan Horgos International Border Cooperation Center in Horgos City. As the world's first cross-border free trade zone jointly established by two countries, the center serves as a dynamic hub for economic and cultural exchange. Here, our participating Nigerian creator explored the vibrant atmosphere of Horgos Port, witnessing firsthand the bustling trade and cross-border interactions that characterize this unique gateway between China and Central Asia.
